Orbit ITSM is designed and maintained by RME Solutions Technology (ABN 94 037 705 984). This notice explains what we collect through this site and the Orbit sales journey, and how we handle it under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Browsing this site
You can read orbititsm.com and its documentation without giving us any personal information. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from attack.
We count visits and clicks on this site, the knowledge base and the live demo with our own privacy-safe analytics. It uses no cookies, records no personal details and respects Do Not Track. If you arrive from one of our own links, we record which campaign link it was.
The live demo
The live demo runs on fictional data in your browser. It does not ask you to sign in and does not send what you type in it to us.
When you book a walkthrough or ask for material
When you book a walkthrough or request material from us, we collect:
- your name, work email address and organisation;
- your phone number and role, if you give them;
- anything you tell us about your organisation and what you need;
- whether you agreed to hear from us about Orbit ITSM.
We use this to arrange the walkthrough, send what you asked for, answer your questions and, if you agreed, tell you about Orbit ITSM. Bookings and Teams meetings run on Microsoft 365, and we keep enquiry records in RME’s own Microsoft 365 tenant. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
The Orbit Customer Hub
We may invite you as a guest to the Orbit Customer Hub, a SharePoint site in RME’s Microsoft 365 tenant where we share blueprints and answer questions. You sign in with your own work or Microsoft account, or a one-time code sent to your email. Your guest account holds your name and email address. It can see the hub only, and we remove invitations that are not accepted. Ask us at any time and we will remove your access.
Marketing email
We only email you about Orbit ITSM if you agreed to it. Every message identifies RME Solutions Technology and tells you how to unsubscribe, as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or make a complaint, by emailing privacy@rmesolutions.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
