Commercially licensed; source access by agreement

Orbit is offered under commercial terms agreed with RME Solutions Technology. Source access, internal adaptation and self-hosting rights may be included in the executed agreement; this public page does not itself grant any licence or usage right.

Orbit is not presented as open-source software. The executed quotation, order and agreement are the only authoritative statement of a customer’s scope, term, permitted use, restrictions and entitlements.

Organisation and tenant scope

Orbit proposals are normally scoped to a named customer environment and intended Microsoft 365 deployment. The exact licensed entity, tenant coverage, deployment rights and treatment of additional organisations or environments must be stated in the executed agreement.

• Confirm the licensed legal entity and Microsoft 365 tenant or environments.
• Confirm whether source delivery, internal adaptation and self-hosting are included.
• Confirm restrictions, attribution requirements and treatment of related entities.
• Confirm update, maintenance, termination and source-retention terms.

Fees, implementation and support

Pricing, term and renewal are supplied by quotation. Discovery, deployment, tenant configuration, migration, customisation, training and support are separate services unless the commercial agreement expressly includes them.

Microsoft licences, cloud services and third-party subscriptions are customer-supplied unless expressly included in the agreement.

Procurement checklist

Before purchase, confirm the licensed entity and tenant, selected modules, implementation scope, support service levels, source-delivery method, update entitlement, Microsoft prerequisites and any customer-specific terms.
